Poem -

Elegy of Marilyn Monroe

A night of sorrow, the night August 5th

Porcelain stained face

Stiff as steel

Heavy as iron

She’s carried out

Where she had taken her last and final breath

“Happy Birthday, Mr. President”

Could they be blamed?

Adultery

Suicide

Did she take her own?

The conspiracies live on over 50 years later

A year of sorrow, the year 1962

The Cadillac of Caskets

36 years old

Too young

To be taken from this Earth

Buried in a beautiful crypt with fresh flowers everyday

Forever remembered for her stature

For her courage and curves

Screen legend

Sex symbol

Blonde bomb of beauty

Forever remembered, never unforgettable

Still an icon to the measures of today and a very beautiful, warm hearted, soft spoken star, that was taken away and burned out way to soon, though now she is truly amongest the stars above...Live on Marilyn..She i am sure would have appreciated your dedication...Nice poem, one fit for a star...
