Poem -

ELF.......(it's a lonely journey)

twas just a little spiderΒ
going nowhere much
afeared of the human vibes
it sensed from up above

It stopped in utter terror
stock still as spiders do
but when it saw the shadow fall
it knew it knew it knew

so many tiny red spotsΒ
dead upon the floor
for the little pregnant spider

was pregnant no more

and all around the humans laughed
and shrieked as humans do
at the poor harmless spider
now dead under a shoe

and it made me cry....

For my lovely friend Matthew ?

A Lonely Journey

Marionette,Β
First of all, you have a beautiful heart. People now-a-days don't think twice about humans killing humans, yet you've shown the depth of your heart by seeing the terrible tragedy in the senseless killing of a spider, which is even more acutely disparaging because of the lives within the spider, and the mindless disregard for the beauty, and cycle of life. I feel that with you Marion. You wrote it beautifully, as you always do, and I'm honored that you thought of me in your title, and at the end. You are so great. Thank you. Love the title, by the way. You're truly one of a kind, Marionette(the best kind), thanks for always caring, and being so kindhearted, and for all your beautiful writes.Β

My Dear Lady Marion,

Five stars were not enough to give you on this poem, for I rather would have given eight, one for each leg of the innocent spider.
Many years ago, the day that I met my Blessed Nico, he brought to me the way of Buddha, to never kill a living thing.Β  Since that time, even bugs are sacred to me.Β  As you cried when you witnessed this travesty, so did I when I read your gut-wrenching words.

All my love,
Larry xxx

It's so nice to hear you say that miss? S...I can't kill anything...everything has feelings and meaning for me...I hate how we hand out suffering to creatures like handing out sweets...
its a true story, thankyouΒ  and so sorry for late reply?
