EMBERS OF A FIRE

Like the embers of a fire burning cold with out a flame there love was surely dying it would never be the same.

He'd give his very soul and confess his every sin if only she would love him and forgive him once again.

Baby ill cry for you someday i will die for you lay down my life girl for your love

.Pieces of his heart lay still where they fell upon the floor you could here his cold heart breaking down the hallway by the door.

He put his arms around her and looked into her eyes he touched a tear that wet her cheek and said baby please don't cry.

He knew that he had hurt her from her tears like falling rain, but she would always love him though he filled her heart with pain.

he laid her down beside him and softly touched her skin and prayed that she would love him someday once again

Her heart was dark and empty from the awful things he'd  done and that day he took his life with a bullet from a gun.

Baby ill cry for you some day i will die for you lay down my life girl for your love.
