Poem -

Embers of the day

In the smouldering embers of the day
Watching the sun set
Casting my eye over everything
Seeking a moment of peace
Looking for a little release
From the daily grind
That fill my time and pollutes my mind
I seek solitude and some escape
I still my mind and focus consciously
On the things that I believe
Love, compassion, kindness and peace
And I savour all of this
A retain and manifest myself in grace and bliss
It's the only thing that gets me through
In a life so hard that leaves me confused
So I focus on what makes me feel good
And within the embers of the day
I watch the sunset and another day fade away.

Poignant  & expressive
So Tranquil is your opening phase....
I likened it to  ( The setting sun and  the hope & birthing of a new dawn)

*In the smouldering embers of the day
*Watching the sun set
*Casting my eye over everything

(visually tranquil) ✍️?
