Finding folly in placated alms,

Desiring to escape the drabbling bosh.

Diatribe filled with malcontent,

Yet complacency renders motive distent.

Herding the noble to the state of absurdity.

Balderdash the catalyst for reactionary purity.

History is written in power's stead.

While sun descends and moon is dead.

Deserting incantation with minds unfed.

As we all fall in line...our ego shed.

None can discern the cause of faction.

Allowing slander to propagate distraction.

Hedonism hardens the conscience's call.

Hark! How it beckons but still we ignore.

Till consequence itself raps at our door.

Rantings and ravings race in the mind.

Words encrypted in manners unknown.

Reason escapes and meaning eludes.
