The End Is In Air Distance

The end is in Air distance -
Like the blue is in the sky
As the night is with the stars -
Like the pupil with the eye
The rain is forever pouring -
On foot, he ventures the globe
Past men front line in Mourning -
Through nations of little to none
Sliding on slippery mistakes
Leaving waters great grief -
We sleep, the earth shakes
Now hope to hands and feet
With two sides of our blanket -
The Elephant and Donkey
We unravel our stitches -
And Mix colors in Animosity
The end is in air distance -
Unaware of our precarious state
Unaware of what we inhale -
Unaware of out completed fate

Ms. Foster,
Did I not know there was more to you than meets the eye. There is a powerful soul at work here- and it is you. Call me ignorant if you wish- what is "Air Distance"? I got the gist of the piece- I wanna make sure I'm not missing something, please.
James
Hi James, I wrote this poem when i was in the 10th grade and a series of unfortunate events were occurring in my city, and in the country as well (like the oil spill)... And so the "Air distance" is how i'm describing the world coming to an end, i'm saying it's already here! It's like the air we breathe and moon with the night sky, it's like the wet with water and the pupil with the eye!
Hey Dominique,
Extremely close to us indeed, the main problem is more people not voicing their opinions, as they should. So we are waking up to a dirty air,(taste and smell) each awaking. You are doing good placing your voice out to be heard,Success isn't gained, without someone setting the wheel in motion and sounds like you have volunteered and doing a pretty good job of it and James and are right their beside you...We don't take control of it, it will eventually take it's toll on us all.....
Take Care,
Jim..
What's up James?????
