The End of the World

The dawn of humans will rise and fall,
But I’ll be there at your beck and call,
Because that’s what friends do,
The World will meet its natural end,
But I’ll be here my darling friend,
Because that’s what friends do, and I am a friend to you,

The world is slowly caving in,
And I’ll catch you if you’re falling,
Down, down, down, down, down, down
When the flames arise and the ground falls from beneath you,
I’ll be there; I’ll be there to catch you,
And keep you on steady ground, ground, ground,

The dawn of humans will rise and fall,
But I’ll be there at your beck and call,
Because that’s what friends do,
The World will meet its natural end,
But I’ll be here my darling friend,
Because that’s what friends do, and I am a friend to you,

Smoke will cloud the once clear sky,
And I’ll be there to sing you a lullaby,
Until you sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep,
I’ll watch over you as the nightmares fester,
I’ll be your guardian, your protector,
You won’t make a peep, peep, peep, peep, peep

The dawn of humans will rise and fall,
But I’ll be there at your beck and call,
Because that’s what friends do,
The World will meet its natural end,
But I’ll be here my darling friend,
Because that’s what friends do, and I am a friend to you,

Remember this when you lose yourself,
I would do anything for your health,
I just care, care, care, care, care, care,
We can fight the demons together again,
We will kill them all, I know we’ll win,
And that’s fair, fair, fair, fair, fair,

The dawn of humans will rise and fall,
But I’ll be there at your beck and call,
Because that’s what friends do,
The World will meet its natural end,
But I’ll be here my darling friend,
Because that’s what friends do, and I am a friend to you,
