The enemies of my friends...

We all have friends and enemies that's just the way it goes,
But the enemies of my friends therefore must also be my foes,
For anything less will always be a let down that won"t fail.
To stick.the knife in a comrades back, the dagger of betrayal,
And so we two must make the transfer, one that never ends,
From friend to foe we now must go, we two no longer friends,
But I'm.sure you were aware of that the moment that you chose,
To make a friends alliance with the greatest of my foes,
And on that note I'll.say no more, for no more need be said,
For the friend of all my enemies holds a friendship that's long dead.
