Entitlement-Something to think about

When we live a life that we feel is correct doing what we want or feel
We tend to reap what we sow and expect God to fix things or to take the wheel
It will work out God got my back he can do all things
So we pray and fast and hope for the best with Him you can win
I am a Bishop a chaplain a pastor a minister you fill in the blank
We feel that we are entitled and God has to fix it because of our rank
The only thing that we were entitled to was to die and go to hell
But by the grace love and mercy of God we can excel
Saved from condemnation an eternity of regret
By Jesus dying on the cross for us He paid our debt
When Lucifer elevated himself to be greater than God
He felt he was entitled to everything but it was just a façade
He was the morning star and surrounded the heart of heaven
But became prideful believing that he deserved more he had an obsession
The result of feeling entitled was his greatest downfall
That’s when reality hit hard and he experienced an outfall
Not everything will work out as we want it to go
Even when we pray our hardest we will reap what we sow
God is merciful and compassionate and knows what we’ve gone through
But understand that there are consequences in the things we do
We believe that we are entitled to get what we want because of our title
But the reality of the fact is we are not entitled and this information is vital
