An Epic of Sorrows (prelude)

Alone In the dark.
I wait the night, yearning for day to rid the moon.
Star-Crossed lovers searching light
Yet destined for doom.
Blinded by the poison of Cupid;
Deceived by the arrangement of astrology.
Like the creator of Thee. Wishing for faith, receiving despair
The tragedy of a new aged Shakespeare.
Writes again, the depression of an unwanted pair…
A love to sever, not the happy tale end of forever
Like a wish of death, Heartbreak love should be wished never.
As my angel.
I felt as deity with you my breath,
A love life short lived for an eternity of death.
Your actions stemmed the rain of a cry
Fertilizing a love that remains to die.
Mans torture is worse: to know a glimpse of light
Than to forever know the pain of darkness.
A lonesome prelude, cursed with a lonelier ending
I can’t help but feel that of a carcass.
As I await my assigned angel to righteously spark this-
Candle of light and show me the affection of pure sight.
Darkness is giving up
Darkness is letting go…
In halting these devils
due to light of you
It alters my perception, it changes my view.
Now my day is over, with day turning night
Where Ill forever go about life.
Reminiscing you, a love of sight.
You were the one whom I adore
You were my Juliet, my forever more
Now quoth Raven…
Pleading an epic of sorrow: Nevermore
