Escaping Everything

On my wooden four-legged pillowed ride
With my trusty teddy at my side

I've put on my adventure cape
It's time to escape

We sail across the noisy city sounds
And artificial lights that's always around

Away from the suffocating ghost and glassy eyes
And all those tall skinny metal-ly three-eyed guys

Beyond the never ending striped rivers of black
Over the bridges and toothy train tracks

To that place teddy told me about
Where no traffic reaches and nobody shouts

No big scary words i don't know
Because there big scary grown-ups never go

Where dreams aren't crumpled up and thrown away
Or rushed and told to go another way

There kids can be kids and complicated things like money doesn't matter
There teddy and i and anyone nice can stay happily ever after
