Poem -
Eternal
Do not kneel at my grave and weep,
For I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the sunlight shining on you,
My love for you eternal and true.
I am the droplets in a summer rain,
That fall on you to ease your pain.
I am the breeze blowing through your soul,
To give you strength and make you whole.
You have your life to live and lead,
Please move on and be forever freed.
So do not kneel at my grave and cry,
For I am not there, I did not die.

Stange, had a comment disappear. Tried to rate this 5 stars, but it does not work today (from my computer here in The Netherlands). Love the idea of hanging on to help somebody you love and the complete rewrite/adaptation of the original by Mary Elizabeth Frye (whom I did not know yet - again thanks for that).
