Dearest eve I think you were framed
Femininity was your slayer
Ignorance your society
Infamy they now create of thee
 
An apple a day keeps ill will away
They say
You sampled and was brought down
You always will forever now lose your crown
 
Snakes had charm
Slithering and persuasive
Adding doubt
That was free will
How could you displease
When you were created to be mastered?
 
Off to wander you did go
Days of joy you did have
Nirvana so temporary
Imbued no worries in your
Two person society
 
Along comes mystery
You who was queen of all
Set up to fall
By the wilful
Who used you as pawn
 
Metaphorically
Sartorially
Ignorantly
You receive no praise when due
All this from original sin
 
A part of him
A rib of unity
A union for eternity
The one who brings fruit
