When people ask me
What I want in a relationship 

My answer is I want to be free

Free to show them every part of me

Nothing hidden or locked away

Never to see the light of day

To show them my joy 

My pain

My sadness

For it not to be shooed away

For the absolute trust

To show vulnerability 

And not to have abused tossed aside

To look at them and see them smile

To know I can make them happy

Even with every part of me
