Eyes

You sit and stare, stare at what?
anything your eyes will grasp.
Shutters they are like-
Catching every object you glance upon.

Keeping them locked away in that magnificant sponge. Some to remember but most to not.

This sponge in this shell, why must it remember memories you do not want.
