EYES OF PAIN

Eyes of pain 
Tears I shed 
I still managed to survive 
All this torment 
Every day I stand 
And tell myself 
Never to give up 
Yet some days 
I would rather 
Be dead 
Because I feel 
Like I’m drowning 
In all this destruction 
Around me 
This world is falling 
Apart 
Slowly I see the 
Pieces coming off
