Eyes wide open

Inside I feel excitement..eyes wide open..as wide and hungry as they once were..scared of this feeling..hold back..pause because with life..there is no clause..because life isn't fair..as I sit in my chair..reality just can't compare..to the excitement I feel to the tips of my hair..this illness I will not give you power..sitting and thinking hour to hour..I get up and get in the shower.. because God has given me the power ..even if it is our 2-hour ..I will not stand by and let my soul get devoured.. as I hustle and grind to get what's mine... had to leave some behind because my heart was a fire.. it was more I desired Eyes Wide Open.. my brain like a sponge ..I will not plunge ..I will stand up and fight.. Until it is out of sight..out of mind ..and I am without time
