Faceless

Faceless

I faced a room of faceless,
Grimly stuck in neural stasis...
While searching for the basis,
All I've found are empty spaces...
In the midst of desperate throes
I find some solace in the blows
For when we go from highs to lows
I mean who knows, it's all adjacent...
And what exactly does this mean,
An existential sort of dream
To find the greater truth within, a real preeminence supreme,
And while the fodder getting odder
Simply slaughter like marauders
I forever face the faceless
To contest a world so tasteless
