Faceless

Faceless

I faced a room of faceless, 
Grimly stuck in neural stasis...
While searching for the basis, 
All I've found are empty spaces... 
In the midst of desperate throes
I find some solace in the blows
For when we go from highs to lows 
I mean who knows, it's all adjacent...
And what exactly does this mean,
An existential sort of dream
To find the greater truth within, a real preeminence supreme,
And while the fodder getting odder 
Simply slaughter like marauders
I forever face the faceless
To contest a world so tasteless
