FACING THE REAL WORLD

FACING THE REAL WORLD

Life is not a dream or fairy tale
Sometimes you win sometimes you will fail
It's nice to hide behind dreams that much is true
When everything in the pretend world is both shiny and new

The real world is both bitter and cruel
Where rudeness and dishonesty are the things that rule
In fairy tales everybody lives happy ever after
There is so much joy, happiness and laughter

Everyone has to face the real world at some stage
Fairy tales and dreams are left behind on a different page
Hold onto those dreams for as long as you can
They have always existed since time began
