Poem -

Fade away.

The surroundings around me slowly

faded.

And blurred into a soft focus and into

Nothing.

Just me and myself.

Nothing else.

I  started writing.

My hands flew across the page,

My mind completely free to wander and alone.

For the first time I shouted my words for the world to know, I’m finally free.

"A reader has lived a thousand lives

when you have only lived one.”

“Books help you forget just for a little bit.

About this game called life.”

“I’m different.

I’m not who you think I am.

I think a little more.

I care just a little more.

I love just a bit more.

I feel so much more.

Is that bad? I don't know.”

“Stop just stop. For a second and just think.

Of all the possibilities we could possibly see.

If only you would stop.

And look.

Just listen.

You'll see things you've never seen before.

Understand more then you ever have.”

“The pages in a book unwritten and blank.

Fill them in yourself. Make your own mark.

You have the choice. Take a chance. Maybe you're right.

This whole world's a puzzle, a mystery never to be solved.”

That’s my story my writing, myself. This is me.

The End.
