Fairy tales

If only you really knew, would you still say you love me to.
Would you still step up to the plate, to the debate, between my heart, mind, and soul. Figuring out who’s taking control.
No ease or smooth road, it’s taken me 18 years to crack the code. To unlock the truth and strip it down to nothing but nude.
Finding out there’s no hero, no happy ending. Finding out everyone is just pretending.
I guess if I really wanted one, I’d read them books, those ones that start with them hooks. Those ones that have them hero’s saving the day, stealing the hearts with just one wave, just a smile and a lovable face. But this is the real world and it’s nothing like that place.
Here it’s hard and rough and unforgiving, nothing like those happy endings.

It's not the place itself that holds fast to beauties key, yet the door to self

Great things come when
first imagined.
