What do we really know about
being fake?
Is it just a slander word people use
because they have no other means
to communicate?
 
Is fake the definition of someone who talks
behind your back?
Is it your superior, who you considered a friend,
that never cuts you any slack?
 
Do you call people fake because of the
attitude they have for the day?
Is it how they walk and what they say?
 
Is fake someone who’s considered a
friend
Who goes behind your back and sleeps
with your man
 
Is fake when you go to the house of the Lord
to praise
But instead you gossip about what people are
wearing and their age
 
Is it considered fake when you smile in
someone’s face
But secretly you hate the color of their skin,
their entire race?
 
“Fake People” you say you know so much
about them, how they act and what they
do
Is it because when you look in the mirror you see
fake too?
