Fall Colors Of Love

Love's beating heart beats two in time with the change of fall colors you were there on my mind.
Like those leaves which blew in the wind my growing love for you seemed never at an end.
And when the days were steely gray my heart shone bright for you throughout the day.
Yesterdays gone today is a new just like those leaves which blew me to you.
Yes some things change like fall leaves that's true, but my love that is will never change for you.
Thus the nights grew longer and the air became colder, but such memories I have of you with your head upon my shoulder.
We listened to the blustery wind, and yet somehow our hearts were warm within.
Now the seasons have changed like a mirthful refrain, and so beats my heart still beating the same.
At long last spring has arrived with a rapturous heart to hide cradled by velvet peddles of splendor inside.
Still the warmth of my beating heart beats only for you as when the changing of fall colors first blew me to you.
