Fallen from Grace

Fallen from Grace

Oh my angel, wings of red.
Hugging your body with such dread
To me it seems a deep sadness.
Your endless thoughts causing madness.
Your hair so black, covers your face.
I wonder, oh how I wonder, have you fallen from grace?
Do your eyes cry crimson tears?
Closing your mind thus hiding your fears.
Black and white, red and grey.
Your weariness and your anger only delayed.
How I wish I knew the story!
One in my mind, darkness- no glory.
As beautiful as you are.
The ugliness, barring unseen scars.
The clouds develop, a storm they do brew.
This dark angel is caused by you.
You,  I believe have fallen from God.
You, I believe have been struck by his rod.
Down below you dare not go.
This I do not blame you for, the pain you bestow.
All beauty, no matter how weak.
Peace my angel, you still seek.
By the grace of all those we look to.
For answers and guidance, our souls wheep loudly for you.
