Falling

Falling

Falling

A whisper of a summer breeze
collects cotton seeds from the
globe of the tired dandelions.
In the sky they are falling.

The stars spangle falling like rain
In the universe is the earth falling?
Into the vast space of alone
Where loneliness falls forever.

Autumn leaves
glow red and gold
Falling from the trees
in drifts  of silence crying in vain.

We are all falling day by day
Joining into the organised chaos.
Yet within its structure
Somewhere someone
Holds it all in their hands
And catches all that falls.
