Poem -

Falling Out of Love

You're not who you use to be
Your words use to sing to me
Your promises wished gratefully
Now you reek of wasteful dreams

Remember the first time you kissed me
Your lips tasted of utter affection
I know you craved my purity
You held it like protection
Then change overlapped everything
The strangest thing happened
Soon you drenched in unfamiliarity
It was vigorous like the sea
You lacked great compassion
Kisses altered effortlessly
Without a hint discretion

Scary how different you are now
A mirror sees an unidentified reflection
An unrecognizable form standing in gloom

Scary how distant you are now
We touch with not reaction
An indescribable form of doom

Your eyes are unfamiliar and dull
Your lips speak emotionless words
You are a misguided soul lingering in uncertainty.
.. Was I the cause of this suddenly misery?
