Fame & Friends

All that for the price to be known, comes the pain.
Loyal to a deadly sin.
I thought to have many friends but in 
reality they didn't want me to win.
Damn, the same folks granddad warned
me bout.  He didn't even have to shout.
His words made firm and clear.
I didn't want to listen, yet I heard.
No name is better fame.

People can build a person up in one day
with fame & money.
None finds it funny when it tumbles down.
One allegation will blow up in your face
like the twin towers.
Nothing, I say nothing can stop it's demise.
Did you really think I was suprised?
I learned from others.
After all we are one another's teachers
without cost.
