Poem -

WICKED SISTERS

The cats are back
I sent them away
But they return

They won't leave now
For they smell the sickness
They know she comes

They bide their time
Feigning smiles
Like wicked sisters

Who know of weakness
Of secret indulgence
Of whispering moons

And other things

They regard me
With green glass eyes
They are patient

A black velvet question mark

They know she comes
Will always come
I don't disappoint.
