Far Above The Pain
The spirit in me, begs for me to soar
Above the pain, far, above the pain
Where far into my faith
I shall remain
For it is there
Where
Pain's insanity attempts to destroy
My rationale
And in His Love, the natural poppy
That floats me
Far above the pain
Where swimming
In His Love
Exists a peaceful oasis
Where white light guides my meditation
And the peacefulness
Therein
Is comforting
And affords me
(for a blissful while)
No pain
And no animosity
Of any kind.....

Tony, I wish I had a vocabulary as exquisite as yours. This poem is to the heart of all who suffer pain. Turning the suffering into beauty. it touched my heart. You can do that for so many with your poetry because there is beauty, kindness, and God's love in your heart.
