Poem -

Farewell

The only happiness I ever endured,
was when you were in my presence
December was a cold month
Chilly days, sleepless nights, memories fading, desolation in the making, hopelessly waiting for your return
Sweet melodies of what once was
The sadness awakens
The tears sinking into despondency
Entirely lost in this so called authentic life
Comprehending on why our love perished
Why we had to diverge
If the day shall come, where we are reunified in each other's existence,
I will show no discomfort
My companion, my paramour, my always desire,
Our love shall never go a sunder
Blood rose thoughts,
of the everlasting fear
Fear of the never arriving happiness, complicates my world
Farewell amity,
Farewell serenity
Farewell for now
