Fate

On days that never go as planned,

when things seem to be not so well.

We must try to be as strong as we can,

as I type my words to begin to tell.

There is a word that I will use,

to describe the very reason why I am here.

To do my best to lighten the load,

as a friend to help you when you might fear.

Deeds from our past seem to take hold,

but we've learned from them and moved on.

This word is so true it was predestined for you,

this word will be as sure as the morning’s dawn.

 The realization of knowing when it’s your time,

You will never be a moment in time to late.

My hope is in you and all who will read,

to live and to learn to love and forgive,

all in the honor of Fate!
