Fate’s second chance ❤️

A deserted destination on a delightful day..just a couple of strangers on a shore heading in an oppposite way
This pair of people pass like ships in the night looking out at the horizon’s beautiful sight
So they don’t really notice each other at all listening to the ebb and flow of the tidal’s squall

Well in a tangled web of happenstance they are casually brought together by fate’s second chance..
She is hanging washing out in the blowing breeze as he chuckles at the pegs in her mouth, she senses his tease
Strolling by her garden on such a glorious afternoon he is on a little holiday and going home soon

So she stops what she is doing and she starts to smile as he sits on her garden wall to rest for a while
Of course they both say “Hello” and pass the time of day chatting about this and that in an amiable way
“Would you like to walk with me?” he blurts out in a fluster
“Yes that would be nice” is all she can muster
Two new found friends stroll the same sandy beach.. they were always so close and still within reach..
