Poem -

fatherly feelings

Smiles,
laughter,
fits of giggles.
the way my boys fingers and toes curl when they're tickled.

Happiness,
love and overwhelming joy,
Just to see the smiles on the faces of my boys.

Hugs,
Kisses and films after the dishes,
these are the things a parent wishes.

Playing,
Crafting and creating,
all the things my kids love making.

One little boy,
two and a third,
since I had them my life has whizzed and whirred.

My hopes,
My dreams and all that my compassion brings,
these are but a few of my fatherly feelings.

They're my world,
My bubble and my everything.
Do you think they realise how much of the above they bring?
