Poem -

February

The earth lay under,

a pristine blanket,

of fine white snow.

As the eternal night continues.

Sirens echo,

their cold refrain

but I refuse to listen!

They do not know that February,

fades to March,

then March will herald spring.

Soon the February song they sing

Will have no power over me!
