FEELING HAPPY

My heart bubbles over with joy
Like a kid at Christmas 
With his Christmas wished toy
Crowing like a lone rooster 
With confidence in a hen house 
Frisky like a cat 
Who has just caught his first mouse 
Feeling like a dog 
With his special bone
Like a pig in the mud
Or a teenager on the phone 
Simply put I am happy as a lark
This write might not make sense to you 
But my heart has been rescued 
From the dark.
