Feeling Through Science

Did you know that on a biomechanical level,
at different rate of time… a much, much

rate of time…
our cells flow like liquid?
we literally flow.
biomechanics, in a word…
beauty.
we ebb and flow with the universe.
you can spend your time defining systems
or you can release and succumb to the point of your simultaneous origin and end.
physics, in a word…
transcendance.
To the mind; consciousness — quantum.
Where chemistry melts into physics.
Where material melts into energy.
The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.
Free Will?
Where Newton’s Laws melt down into probability and
that moment where you’re like… “WILD CARD BITCHES!”
You can see where I am but do you know where I’m going?
You can see where I’m going but do you know where I truly am?
I’m recursive, self-learning.
Computer science; logical.
Coding my thoughts and emotions
into actions.
Electrical signals turning to neurotransmitters
then back into lightning again.
Afferent to Efferent to Afferent.
It’s just neuroscience.
Which came first?
You know, there’s this theory
that we are actually just reacting to our own emotions.
That they trickle between the cracks of unconsciousness
and then drip softly into our conscious thoughts?
Psychology — metacognition;
Where did I truly come from?
Am I my thoughts? Emotions? Actions?
A synesthesiac combination of past, present, and future?
What about now?
I am now.
And everything else in between.
How about you decide.
And we’ll compare notes.
And maybe… just maybe,
We’ll realize we’re both right.
And then we’ll merge both our understandings
into one broader, more enlightened understanding.
It’ll become collective.
The scientific method.

It's refreshing to read a poem about science in the constant flow of religious poems on this site.
