Poem -

fiery eyes.

i have this fixation on beauty and what it meant to be alive. I somehow found it in your eyes, but your eyes lit with a fiery rage that burned my skin. a sensation like cement scraping across your knees when you fell as a kid. you’re pain demanding to be noticed, baby i noticed it from the moment i saw you. you keep throwing me like a pebble into the waves, its your way of saying good by while still keeping me attached by your side. maybe you don’t understand what compassion is. maybe i don’t either. after all, it was me who found comfort in your fiery eyes.
