Fifth planet from the sun ~

You and I are stardust
I, made of the bones of ancestors
You, made of beautiful matter
So when you scream at me
You scream into the black hole
Of the universe and it hurts 

You and I are stardust
A couple exploding
Our arguments are volcanoes
And our tears are streams
Infinity has found us
Or perhaps we have found infinity 

I am the fifth planet from the sun
You are just passing by
I am your rock
You my comet
A couple exploding
Our limitations gone

Walk with me across the sky
Look into my eyes and wonder why
How did we find each other
Amidst a billion billion stars
You my comet
I, your rock

When the lights go out at night
I look into this wondrous universe
Even though you have left
You are around me
Within me
I have melted into your light
