Fifty Shades of Grey

Fifty Shades of Grey

The sun has set for you,The skies are now pale blue.

And fifty shades of grey,Shadows come out to play.

The heavens are not ablaze. The air smells of summer haze.

But the sun has set for you,The sky is now pale blue.

Life has long left me,Like shores bereft the sea.

Pain sears through my veins,

Heaven hath cried,I feel the rains.

A wind blows gentle,as if in reverence,

It blows away my tears, but does not reward my penance.

The trees sway as if to bow their head,

The silence says everything left unsaid.

The heavens join their hands in prayer,Make the sky fifty shades greyer.

But the sun has set for you,The skies are no longer blue.

Heavenly lights take their place,The dark of the night brings me solace.

I feel myself making peace,And all wild emotions cease,

To flood trough my veins,And I can feel the rains.

Fall to the ground and feel,The Earth beginning to heal,

My wounds fresh from the war,I cut myself up for,

Raging inside of me,Like a wild and stormy sea.

My emotions so intense,Do not reward my penance,

My wounds still sting,The silence begins to ring.

In this heaven of dark,Collide the heavenly stars,

Mark the break of day,In fifty shades of grey.

And though the sun has come into view,

It has,forever,set for you.
