Fight For You

Here I am 7 months later

Walking beside my shadow is my only companion

I can not let go for you are my life passion

I will for life hold onto the memories for you are my soul definition

Fight for you my heart will always care

Fight for you my soul will always dare

My bravery and courage I've tried to believe in

But I will always love you till the end

I can not look into the eyes of another

You are my soul, I love no other

Fight for you my heart will always care

Fight for you my soul will always dare

I've shed more than a million tears

For without you I feel so bare

I will always hope to love you again

My life without you can not begin

Justin, impressive write... I love so many things about this poem; content, construction and the rhythm and repeated lines give it a musical tone, bitter/sweet, beautifully written verse...thanks for sharing, man...pure quality,

Thank you Chris and much respect for the positive words! What helps me with my writing is listening to music and I also help with the lyric writing for the band I'll soon be putting together. It's rare for me to write but memories overcame me today and had to express.

Nardine, I can tell that your statements came straight from your heart. Much respect and thank you for the uplifting and positive statements. I don't know if that time will ever come or if I will ever see her again but I do know all I can do is focus on my life and defining this life to the best of my ability.
