Poem -

fighting for colour

Innocent little tulips sit in the sunshine
something magical under there petals
shining yellow like the glow of summer
with apple trees smiling by there side

blossoming pink roses breathe like love
diamond jewels sparkle like a silver sky
the grass may be green for the queens
branches may be dancing with there arms

dragons fight high next to  the stars
breathing fire like angry creatures
wishing they were calm like flower petals
wanting the water in the oceans to sparkle

sometimes lovely peaches are missing
and peace never lands in our laps
the strawberry trees whisper for more colours
as the darkness has drained them of there beauty
