Find the time to take the time

It's been a while since I took a long walk.
A long walk among the trees and the bushes.
Feeling the water drops from the grass wetting my boots
Feeling the cool wind stroking my cheeks.
I need to find the time to go back there.
I need to find the time to take the time.
I will do this alone because this is my escape.
And the path I take leads to beautiful scapes.
This time of year, all the bright colors are there,
Green, yellow, orange and gold.
And to enjoy this sight, one is never too old.
I just need to find the time to go back there.
I just need to find the time to take the time,
And to take MY time.
