Finding Hope

She trembled deep within herself, there were no signs of relief,
her memories and emotions, 
were overflowing with grief, 
she would lay out on a blanket, underneath the stars, 
screaming to the heavens, 
completely falling apart, 
she felt no one could hear her cry, for she was all alone, 
until she saw the lightning, 
and heard the thunder moan, 
the trees they whistled melodies, dancing with the wind, 
she felt her soul was mended, 
like she was whole again, 
she layed there as the sun came up, she watched the clouds above, 
and as the world was awakening, 
so was her new found love, 
from that day on she spoke, 
to the souls that roamed the air, 
she had a peace in her heart knowing,
someone was there who cared...
