Finding my religion

Finding my religion

After waking up in the

Morning light

At once a Buddhist

No need to fight - acceptance- as

I walked across the Via Dolorosa

Reminded of my Catholic brother

Down to the Western wall

Amidst the head covered men

And the women in shawls

Down to the Dome of the Rock

Where Mohammed

Of Mecca and Medina set the clock

The river Ganges now flowed through

My mind

With Krishna and Vishnu inside the Mantra sound

I took the nearest boat upon the ocean

Into storms of mans own creation

Until eventually I found religion at the door

Bringing this soul to its inner core

I think I found my thang

In the Big Bang;

the Big Big Bang

In this wondrous sparkling inevitable fusion

I pray in my heart for

Finding my religion
