Easy to spot stocky and very little hair 
Crack the code and the safes would open wide
With money and jewellery awaiting inside 

Known to the police Fingers was a master crook
Always slipped through the net was just his luck
Banks in London feared a break in each night 
No clues left by Fingers and was soon out of sight

Fingers decided one last job and then to retire 
The jewellery in this safe were something to admire 
Preparations were made in the finest detail 
He must be right or he would undoubtedly fail
