The Fire Hardens The Clay

Most of us think of hardship
As something which gets in our way
We think of it as pointless
 But fire hardens the clay

Our lives aren't meant to be easy
Its something we must face each day
Because for each and every one of us
 The fire hardens the clay

 Hardship is not comfortable
Thats not what im trying to say
But understand that it is necessary
 Because fire hardens the clay

When we accept that it helps us grow
 Understand we may
 That even though its tough
 The fire hardens the clay
