The Fire Hardens The Clay

Most of us think of hardship
 As something which gets in our way
 We think of it as pointless
 But fire hardens the clay
  
 Our lives aren't meant to be easy
 Its something we must face each day
 Because for each and every one of us
 The fire hardens the clay
  
 Hardship is not comfortable
 Thats not what im trying to say
 But understand that it is necessary
 Because fire hardens the clay
  
 When we accept that it helps us grow
 Understand we may
 That even though its tough
 The fire hardens the clay
