Fireflies

Fireflies

fireflies burning a quiet shimmer
upon nightfallen sky
lay down in the shallows
of the waiting pond of dreams
patience falls like abandoned leaves
in the burden of wisdoms write
gently hope weeps in silent night
as faith holds fates heart of stone
evergreen
as a new dawn leads closer to home
down by the flames trees
where the fireflies enchant
moon eclipses sun
the gypsy foresees everlasting
leave by leave
promise tree
