Poem -

The first time you told me

You were moderately depressed

i was just sad

you felt the need for death

i just wanted an escape

That's probably why you did what you did- and I fidny

remember when you puked up them pills in the street?Ā

the ones you had secretly taken the night beofre

i laughed, held your hair and took your cigaretteĀ

I didn't know at the time

and it hit me pretty bad but I still couldn't kick the numb feeling

when you rang me at half six, the next morning

telling me, for the first time, you'd tried to kill yourself
