FIVE COURSE MAN

Fifth course coming to him that's all that matters 
He doesn't see the man outside clothes in tatters
Hurry with that fifth course at just the right heat 
Why should he bother with the man on the street

He complains to the waitress about the delay 
The man outside searches for a shop doorway 
Fifth course is finally eaten with gusto and greed 
Raining outside the man is in desperate need 

The five course man pays his huge bill with cash
Doesn't want to get wet so makes a quick dash 
Waiting for him is his chauffeur driven car 
Takes him back home a few miles not very far

What of the other man I can almost hear you say
Wet and hungry but has found a shop doorway
By early morn he'll be gone to who knows where
Nobody will bother and certainly nobody will care
