The Flame
Memories of you are all that remain
But still burning fiercely is your flame
Every time my mind turns to the past
You appear stirring emotions to last
Your passing caused me such anguish
My feelings for you will never diminish
My heart is yours as it will be evermore
It is you, and always so, that I long for.
Wherever I find myself on this journey
Warmth of your love keeps me company.
